Was more out there than I expected. Closer to 3 inches than two. It’s been awesome to introduce the babies to winter. We rigged the jet sled with some seats from the double stroller and the twins love it.

SNE's climate today, especially near the coast is what NYC used to be a couple decades back. They haven't been spared.

CNE & NNE are in better shape because even in a warmer climate they can still get cold enough for a lot of snow.

However eventually everyone will warm too much. Beyond our lifetimes hopefully

Not with respect to annual snow.   Using Boston as a barometer, snow totals in the most recent 30 year climo are (I think) the highest they have been in the period of record going back to the late 19th century.  I do remember growing up in NNJ and climo then-the 1950s and early 60s seemed similar to the Boston area today.

That was probably dumb of me yesterday to think there was a shot to see things trend not as warm on the GFS. Anyways, we know inversions can tend to screw us and limit wind potential but if we see sfc temps and dews push 60 and get convection into play...an inversion won't be much of a concern.

We'll see how far west and how far inland the wind potential gets but this could be a pretty big deal for eastern sections, especially towards the Cape and coastal Maine. Could be something a little more than our typical cool season wind events.
