Some squalls, but lot of that precipitation will be used to wetbulb down the atmosphere I think

So... Uh, it's like snowing (or sleeting? It's falling like snow, but is more solid) outside here in central-west CT and it's also apparently 44 degrees at the same time. WTF? I thought it was supposed to be sunny today. Oh well, not complaining.

the setup around the 10th kinda reminds me of Jan 2022… same really tall W US ridge, elongated TPV and Atlantic ridge

Euro really blows up that clipper on 12/5 in gulf of maine. It’s a few inches for most of SNE but if that digs just a bit more it could be something more significant.

I see. Thanks. I thought I knew my precip types, but turns out there's a lot more to learn. I previously saw this happen in the mid to upper 40s once and was just as confused back then. Interesting phenomenon.

I like the look of the clipper at H5 on the EURO, so close to something bigger and looks like it could be quite dynamic

Be nice to get that clupper to pop a tad sooner…but I’ll take a couple inches to get us on the board regardless.   And if it blows up for the northern areas of Maine, that would be great for me.

Wiz, correct me if I’m wrong, but that has a nice look dropping down underneath us around latitude of VA.  Those can do some nice things.
