Today’s high temp was colder than yesterday at 27.5 vs 29 yesterday. These no mix days the temp doesn’t rise or fall too much this time of year

Even though the sun is at one of its lowest angles of the year, it still feels warm standing out in the full sun today, even though it is only 32° here.  I’m guessing it’s probably the lack of wind that’s making it feel that way.

First year with a rink so I've had some vested interest in the cold/dry stretch up here (-2°F and 6.0" SN MTD).  Ice is skating great and will for the next several days.

-4F at 11pm at the ASOS on RT 100.  Similar in the local river valley here.

The inversion is incredible.

Over in NH, it’s -4F at HIE while it’s +27F on MWN?  Heating bills for sub-zero cold in town, when it’s pleasant at the summits.

Yup. HIE is basically 40°F colder than the summit this morning.

Wow, really radiated last night, 6.6⁰ currently....probably would have been below zero if we had a few more inches of snow on the ground.

Pretty impressive stretch of cold. The range at CEF over the past five or six days is 1 to 33. The two afternoons where it did get to 32 and 33 was just for a few minutes. We've only received about or just under an inch of snow between the two events but there's still a good quarter inch left. Just amazing at the retention this time of year with decent cold. All in all not a bad month of winter weather here in the lower PV.
