And you can take it on one of their little boats and buzz around the harbor.

That might be the high today…maybe another degree but hard to get more diurnal warming after 1pm near the solstice. BOS will miss their record low max by only a degree or two today. More snow OTG than in 1989 though…

When I came in from a poorly thought out walk on slippery surfaces I commented to my wife that when we went out at midnight that night it was 20 degrees colder! But that was an ice cube dropped in tepid water and it was mild 36 hours later. This one is longer albeit not stronger.
Hazey
Amazing what some snow cover will do. Sitting at 16f with a windchill and flurries. Much much better season so far.

Was in Boston last night and even though I already knew they did well in the storm, it still surprised me somewhat to see how much snow they had. I guess 2-3 years of them getting skunked has started to numb me…I always expect the snow to disappear once inside 128 but it got meatier and meatier. Looked and felt like deep winter there. Great to see during the lead up to Xmas.

Patrick-02540
Looks like I'll top out at 13 today, on a P&C of 18. Plateaued between 12:45 and 1:45, and now sliding down. Hoping to blow past the forecast low of 2 for tonight. Hitting -1 would be amazing.
