Weeklies continue to show a rapid reload to a much colder pattern in January lasting most of the month. I’ll believe it when I see it but I do believe the reload part is real. You can see the very beginning of it at the end of the regular EPS run. The last 3 days of GEFS/GEPS today look like a better version of the 12/1-12/7 pattern with the ridge not as far to the east out west.

alex
Down to 6F with a forecasted low of -10. I’m getting flurries from the snowguns at the ski area lol, the whole valley is shrouded in snowmaking fog. The forecast doesn’t look too bad once we make it past Tuesday (should it stay that way, which is never a guarantee)

There was a lot of woods surrounding that place. Relatively elevated, but sort of a plateau. It’s now a massive area of various types of housing and sports complexes. All that’s left are some decaying runways and the ATC towers.

I think it was Wunderground that let you augment the URL to get the old obs from that place, but not anymore. I feel like the obs are buried now. Have no idea how to retrieve them.
