That was special. I've never had something like that where 3" fell on Christmas morning, all in 90 min. Followed by an arctic blast. I'll always remember that. The Swiss model won that lol.

Have there been any “historical” snowstorms to hit on Christmas Day in the Boston area? I can remember snowstorms before and after Xmas but nothing on the actual day itself?

depends what we want to define as the 'the boston' area

back in 2002 i believe there was a ne regional/coastal biggie

Wasn’t here for that but my benchmark Christmas storm is 2002.

I think there was also one around 1994? Christmas Eve?

Maybe it wasn't a big one

A massive rainstorm hit in 1994. Subtropical low. I think there were hurricane force gusts on the coast.

Anything in 1993 then?  I remember driving from my parent's house in Foxboro back to Gardner MA on Christmas Eve and it was pretty snowy...

I think we had some snow showers pass through the region iirc then.

He really does it from a good place in his heart, but some of those posts are like rusty coat hangers scratching out my corneas.

I know he does and I'm kidding. Nobody should be afraid to post about snow because someone else is screwed. But I agree, it's like daggers to me lol. It wouldn't be a big deal if I didn't suffer through the recent winters.

Could you do what you do for work in a place like Stowe?

I could be remote, sure.

But life is too large and complicated. I have all my family and friends here. I like being near BOS and love the ocean for as much pain as it gives me at times. Would love to get a place towards the outer Cape sometime.
