GCWarrior
Does Thursday not look like a similar setup early last year where ADKs and northern Greens had a few hours of rain then a decent backside snowfall? SVT, whites and Maine got all rain.
TheMainer
Less snow to melt in the rain, last thing we need to do is replace another 40 snowmobile bridges 2 years in a row! For the rain, while the area has been in a drought, the frozen ground will produce quick runoff and threaten to break up existing river ice. With QPF measured in inches, hydro concerns cannot be ignored.
CoastalWx
This looks like more of a typical clipper with all the forcing north of the warm front. And Reggie dropping the amounts.

I was in good spirits until now Expand He’s busting your balls…but this clipper isn’t the same as Thursdays. Many of us are on the board for the season(3” here)…and you(with 8”) actually have normal snowfall for December already. Our local ski area has made snow for a week straight…and opens today, so Not a bad way to start December after all. We wait some now…as we know it’s never wire to wire.

ORH_wxman
Clipper might not drop any accumulations south of rt 2. We’ll see. We really wanted it about 50-100 miles south. Too bad we couldn’t get midweek further east too. There’s def going to be an anafront band of snow with it but it’s going to be west of us.
