Having lived there, they are very accustomed to the rug pull. Anyhow, part of the fun is to see what the models put out and then see how much they change.. Trust me, it's been bleak there as well.Man it really has been. I was in med school in Washington DC in 2003 when we got >16 inches. The city was crippled and I was stranded while out at a bar. Had to spend a night with a girl I met at the bar but that’s a whole other story! Then I was in residency in NYC in 2006 when we got 26+! Storms missed from every direction. Couldn’t even reel in a clipper. it was that bad. This winter feeling eerily similar thus far. It's one thing to be screwed because everything is going south or north, but in 1995-96 a narrow corridor from Chicago to Detroit (excluding the lake zones) was screwed because almost everyone N, S, E, & W had a good to great winter. They were VERY similar to the sucky 1950s winters in terms of both snow and temps. It's why I would laugh anyone's ear off who is our generation and uses the centuries old line "winters when I was a kid...".
