We all know the cold with back off just as a low pressure ejects out of the rockies and/or 4 corners, we all end up with precip issues/most likely rain while msp cashes.

Begs the question "just what's worth flying home for?"  I mean, 12+ not too common in Detroit region.

You'll know it when I fly back home for it. ;)

Please wake me up from this nightmare....

Of course, if I was this age in the mid 20th century, we'd have better Winters but I probably would've been the first one storming the beaches of Normandy.  I guess I'll take the shitty winters and count my blessings.

Meanwhile, back to our regularly scheduled December programming. Guess it'll be yet another Christmas in the 40s/50s for the Midwest with that look.

Highest snowfall of the season yet is 1.7" back on November 21st, also the 2nd latest first freeze ever. It's a lock that December will have less snow than November.

In the meantime:
PV-Forecast is bringing up a potential SSW in the later in the month

That's a fun can to kick down the road until it's February or it ends up on the other side of the planet..

Also this isn’t the worst scenario to score some winter weather for some of us in western Great Lakes.
