Ravens are hard to watch. Doesn't help when the refs are literally making up penalties to call now.

Lamar looks off just like he did to start the Steelers game.

Yeah man what the heck is a leg whip?? And if ya call that a thing, how is that even it?? Literally rolling over

Wow Mammoth is getting smashed up again by pretty heavy snows! The lights are on at their Main Lodge too!! THAT SNOW IS POURING DOWN, now!

https://www.mammothmountain.com/on-the-mountain/mammoth-webcam/main-lodge

They got 8 inches today, on top of a 40 inch base, and now tonight they will get pile driven right into the snowpack by 17 MORE inches of freshies!

At this rate it won't be long before they can go off-piste into the stashes in the woods!

See the elevated deck? They got piles of snow there that are getting covered up because they got TIRED of digging snow already?! C'mon guys at Mammoth! It's not even Thanksgiving yet and you are ALREADY getting tired? Better get 'er done, because winds are really gusting too, up to 80mph!!!!!

It is snowing so fvcking hard and blowing so fast, the storm obliterated 6 inch deep tracks in the lot at Mammoth in 30 minutes. This storm cycle is a monster. It is literally raging over the resort, erasing landmarks as it assaults them with torrential snow and very high velocity wind gusts!

Someone drove a vehicle thru about 11 inches of snow on the Woolly Cam lot at Mammoth. It only took 40 minutes to totally obliterate those tracks! Snow rates have gone totally NUCLEAR! HIGH WINDS of up to 80 mph are just transporting massive amounts of  the torrential snow all over the resort! It's unreal as a monster pre-Thanksgiving early season storm cycle continues to absolutely SHRED Mammoth down to nanotechnological tolerances!!!!

Yeah big win. Still so many penalties, but I’ll take that defensive performance.

The last 2 games they have cut way down on the big plays- Eddie Jackson was released and Marcus Williams riding the pine is a big part of it. Nate Wiggins improving and getting more playing time. Hated to see them give up that trash time TD but they kept everything underneath and took a lot of time off the clock. Questionable calls extended the drive ofc. Nothing new there.

unless there is contact which disadvantages the opponent, I don't see any reason for a penalty.

I've been saying this for years. Too many rules and too much BS. Solid win nonetheless.

Who cares about the offense lining up in an illegal formation?   Or how about an ineligible receiver downfield?

Worthless and kill the flow of the game.

It's HIGH-TIME to head to Mammoth and Palisades! It's January in November! This winter is going to set brand new records!

Mammoth got NovemberBuried last night. You should have seen how frackin' HEAVY the snow was overnight! The wind was a literal Category 1 Hurricane! It gusted to 85mph at times! It's gonnabe WORSE than 22-23 this winter!!!!!!!!!!! They are warning skiers about snow immersion, for krise' sake! In November! Before Thanksgiving! They got two and a half feet overnight with 17 MORE inches coming TODAY! So the snowpack is over six feet deep already! Forget obstacles! No more spicy runs! Get out the snorkels! I can't believe it! The instructors are going bonkers! In November! I can't believe how deep the snow is in The Village! It looks like mid JanuBuried there already!!!!!!!!!!!!! Man you should have seen the torrential snow whipped and blasted by 85 mph gusts last night! It was an outright MILKSHAKE FROTH! Powderhounds, come one come all! This is a November storm for the Ages! There are gonnabe some EPIC stashes out there today!

This might seem political but I swear it’s really about why our method of argumentation and debate has become so dysfunctional.

For a while now our political discourse has become unproductive because the debates tend to be proxies and not actually substantively about the actual issues motivating both sides. What’s the point even imo, to argue about these stupid side battles that often the person who starts it doesnt even care that much. Even if they lost the debate it wouldn’t change anything because the debate isn’t about anything substantive.

But now I’ve noticed this bleeding into our science discourse. Todays spat in the long range thread being exhibit A. The hostility behind that had nothing to do with the exact strength of Siberian high pressure.

If we’re going to fight and be hostile why can’t we at least just fight about what’s really aggravating people.  Why are we fighting about ancillary substitutes all the time lately?

Let's fight about something real, the Ravens Eagles game this Sunday.
