I wish I was there. When it started I thought it was like this looking at the radar. It looks amazing

Those lake effect bands came roaring off the lake and they meant business. Delta T has to be pretty crazy off Erie right now. Easy 1+”/hr stuff earlier. A steady 0.5-1”/hr probably through the remainder of the game. This would’ve been so awesome to experience, so I’m right there with you!

Honestly I’ve been getting worried about the Ravens’ playoff chances. The Chargers have me scared. The head-to-head goes to the Ravens against the Broncos if something goes south, but damn, it’s not guaranteed.

Weird team. Offense can be prolific at times. The team as a whole is undisciplined, and that's a feature of a Harbaugh coached team. Tucker is now unreliable. Worst pass defense in the NFL. Monkon is a dumbass who doesn't really want to run the ball.

With the changes they made in the secondary, the play was much better against the Steelers. Maybe that continues. They must reduce the penalties. Maybe Tucker can figure out why he is pushing the ball left. Get back to running for 150+ yards per game. If they can do most/all of that, they will win 10+ games and be in the playoffs.

Lamar plays good in Prime Time games. Plus we seem to always have the Chargers number, for whatever reason these statistic stick.. 23-1 vs NFC, 10-1 vs the Bengals, bad against the Steelers etc. If past play-general is any indication, we should beat the Chargers and Eagles

Does anyone remember the president's day storm (November 11th, 1987)? Whenever I hear people say it can't snow and stick in November. I think about that storm and how i was stuck at school until midnight when the local rednecks with their trucks saved us. I remember riding up front in some super loud mudding truck with like 5 kids yelling out direction how to get home. The good ole days when adults didn't care about kids lol. I remember lots of thunder and lightning during that storm. I was in 3rd grade and still remember the evolution and temp profile as the storm progressed.

That was the veterans day storm. President's day storms were in February  lol

Mood flakes yesterday and thanksgiving next week and a good set up to kick off meteorological winter, makes me wonder what to expect for Christmas time this year. Fingers crossed for a good set up for a seasonal Christmas time for once.

Is it blasphemy that I’m kinda rooting against the thanksgiving threat. The whole family is getting together at my brothers in northern VA Wednesday to Saturday, parents brother sister and a ton of kids… I kinda just want to relax and enjoy and not be stressed tracking snow.

Honestly I don’t think you have much to worry about. I’m more interested in what happens after.

Wow it has been cranking all day long at Palisades! Same deal at Mammoth! Both resorts have been assaulted by heavy snow!

Just you wait til they turn on the big lights at Mammoth, link below! Then you'll see something!

Mammoth started getting heavy snow and very high winds last night! They picked up 14 inches just last night! They got more today! Palisades Tahoe has been under near-constant snow assault for three DAYS, now! It is STILL pouring freshies even now!

Came back home yesterday evening after a long day of travel back from Western KY area. Cut through I-68 in Garrett and saw a beautiful winter landscape. It was really stark the cut off points where the best snow fell. Basically just across the WV line to about Big Savage Mountain was where the snow was still remaining and certainly got the best of Friday.

Took some of these pics from the top of the rest area near Keysers Ridge. Gorgeous!!

So, remember folks, if you have a house full of people DON'T fill the woodstove full at 7 am if it is only 33 and the high for the day is supposed to be 56. Currently 88 downstairs (where the stove is) and 76 up with a door and 2 windows open with 9 folks in the house and 45.5 degrees outside. It was 91 downstairs about an hour ago lol.
