psuhoffman Posted November 23, 2024 Share Posted November 23, 2024 The melt has begun. Already up to 40 and feels really nice out. I don’t think qpf was too crazy here. Maybe .5. The ratios ended up not that low, surface stayed near freezing and the snow growth was pretty good. Looks like we'll probably get a freeze on Black Friday - becoming rather typical (first freeze coming in very late Nov / early Dec). I was looking at the past 6 weeks or so of temps, and we really did have mostly summer-like weather (highs in the 70s/80s, lows in the 50s/60s) until nearly the 3rd week of Nov. And then it snowed shortly thereafter. LOL. No Fall. No Spring. Just Summer and Winter (which is really more like a late Fall/early Spring these days).
