It's back and 12Z was a juicy run.

Umm, it helps if you actually posted posted 24-hour snowfall map of that run instead. The majority of the snowfall total on the 12z GFS is for around the beginning of December.

The permacloud is getting to me too, November's "sweet treat" around here. Did get some wonderful sunny days on Tues and two Sats ago but its not enough. River is getting quite low.

Filtered sunshine today, but it's going that be that kind of a week when sun will be hard to come by this week.

This weeks event may be a few token flakes for Chicago and that’s about it. We’ll be threading the needle next week.

This is about the time where I need to head south to florida. These cloudy days definitely affect me too much

This will be most welcome! Isolated 3" also possible along the shore.

They just upped the potential rain totals for the North Shore. Now isolated 4" possible along the higher terrain, along with a Wind adv for 40-50 mph wind gusts. Too bad this wasn't a winter storm. It would be awesome.

Just lived thru the sunniest Sept/Oct I ever remember in the Northland. And you want to flee The Mitten so fast??

Haven't been paying too much attention to ensembles, but this is a pretty big run-to-run change off the EPS, and somewhat surprising to see so close to the event?

Nice to have you looking out for this region. I presume you're a student at CMU?

Let me know if anyone wants any other graphics from this site, they've got some good visualizations, but it needs a subscription which I've got thru school.
