This has probably been frustrating above anything else. The model agreement has been dogshit and the ensembles have been just as bad...they've lead to several "high confidence" forecasts for some storms 3-5 days out, and the snowfall forecasts start flying, winter storm watches/warnings start flying, and then everything falls to crap the last minute. Then of course we had the Feb 5(?) debacle where Hartford county went from a winter storm warning to advisory only to get over a foot of snow widespread lol.

Was this the same storm where in Boston it went from 18" to nothing in the last 24 hours? That was a mess.

I don’t think it was that dramatic, but I do recall the Mets went wild when IMO it looked like crap there.

All the forcing went from CT and then Cape Cod as the storm intensified. So inside 128 to about Marshfield had 1-3” of slop. I don’t even know if Logan had 1”. Meanwhile the Cape had 6-8” of paste. I folded after that.

But that's what these snow maps do...they truly are ruining the field. They are used all over and everywhere. It's all about hype, ratings, likes, and mentions. Too bad NOAA doesn't have any authority to ban those garbage products from being created.

I mean yes, if we have a dry warm Thanksgiving, maybe the kids can run outside. But generally we're all inside, so I'd rather have the rain that we need. That wouldn't ruin Thanksgiving at all. A big snowstorm that could One year we went to family friends for Thanksgiving. They had a tradition/rule that before you had seconds on dessert you had to go outside and run a lap around the house. Had to do it before any subsequent dessert. It was fun.
