stormVista and pivotal maps are way different..   pivotal is not much for anyone.. storm vista is a snowstorm    now that pivotal is out makes more sense..

Hmm,well the American models just made things interesting with their latest run with an 990 mb low in the GOM. Might have to make some changes to the Thanksgiving Day travels.

Flakes at least seem pretty likely at Pit2.  Perhaps a little whitening if the NAMs were to play out.

The official NWS p/c is caling for a mix with the dreaded "little or no accumulation".

Lots of ice in Westfield this morning.  Heard the truck spreading treatment about 3 am. Everything they put down yesterday surely washed away with yesterday's rain...

Every car in New England shuttered with that thought…..How we have progressed; we’ve come from rear wheel drive cars and sand with some salt mixed in on the roads to copious amounts of salt and road, car, and bridge eating road chemicals and cars that are front wheel drive, all wheel drive and 4 wheel drive and the accident rate is this about the same it was 40 years ago!

Congrats VT Ski areas?  Though it looks like the good stuff will be south of PF and me toward Stratton/Killington.  Maybe with a little upslope bonus we get to 6, which is a win.

Ha;  It'll be over by race time, but Killington sure looks like a sweet spot as of right now.  They'll be hosing down the course with all that fresh snow.  I would never be able to ski Superstar that day with how icy they like it.

Driving to the airport at 3 am this morning….. at times driving was very hazardous less than 100 feet visibility in front of me at times… so yes it was very thick
