Water must be a bit brisk (50s?) but at least one can warm up easily with temps in the 70s.

If I had to guess, 53-55?  Not nearly as cold as one would expect this time of year, and not noticeably different when I did the same 2 weeks ago.

Enough to shock you momentarily, but not enough to deter you from body surfing a wave or two.

I ride my bike there, about 4 miles one way, so I'm warm enough when I get there and quickly warm after I leave.

Enough drought that we decided to let the last of the garden die from lack of water before we had our first frost.  #steined

Today is a mind f*ck…. walking the dog now by headlamp because it’s dark at 5pm, in shorts and T-shirt like it’s summer, with a tropical southerly breeze… it’s quite the vibe.

This must be what Christmas in Florida feels like.

The opposite side of today’s departures here would be like a low of -5F and a high of like 25F.

Feels like a late summer evening out there. It’s awesome but just a little strange when you remember what the date is. Which begs the question, what is our actual average supposed to be in light of these wild anomalies? Either way, I’m just embracing this surge while it lasts..it makes doing anything outside that much more enjoyable!

I stopped watering the lawn Nov 1. Still watering the pepper plants . I’ve never seen anything like this . Sunday nite rain vanished

dps at hfd and bos are 55+ ...so this air mass is not just a kinetic fluke. it's 'thermodynamically historic' - if that's a metric

74° at 7:00 p.m.  with crickets chirping. Folks have been saying this is like early September. I'd say late August. When does school start?

Mid 80s on 11/6 is ridiculous, it doesn't even look November until further notice. I'm looking for 20s in the morning and upper 40s to mid 50s for highs and some overcast days without a southerly wind.
