It’s dead nuts on. Record hot day

Nobody is saying that it wasn’t hot….but it runs high.  You’re not gonna convince me it isn’t. Last week it was 5 hotter than here. Today it was 6 plus hotter. Give me a break.

And Bakersville in the hollow is dead nuts on too when they read 18, and everybody else in the area is 28-30….

Stopped for gas near the Hadley/Northampton bridge this afternoon and there was a heavy smoke smell and the sky to the north looked hazy/smokey. Can’t find any news of a fire though.

Probably this one

I'd hate to have an actual emergency like a house fire right now in some of those towns.  So many resources tied up fighting the brush fires.  Mutual aid and agencies coming from further distances will diminish response time to other calls.

No issues locally here.  Picked up ~0.40" today between two rounds of precip, one this morning and then again this evening.

45F and dropping.  Crazy that tomorrow's highs may barely crack 40F here in the valley.

Yeah, it’s not been a rainforest by any means but we have gotten .59 this week.
