Didn’t you get like .5 this week?

1.40 here since Aug 20. .37 this month

Holy crap, that's it?

Up here, we have been put into the unseasonably dry category and have received over 7" of rain during that time.

That's crazy... on CoCoRAHS, just north of you in Somers has numerous stations below 1.25" during that time.  I figured you had at least 2-3" during that time.

Yeah man. Thats it. As dry and Steined as I’ve seen it here since moving to town in 2000. The summer drought in 22 was bad.. but this beats that pretty easily . It literally just stopped raining on Aug 20 . That was the weekend of the floods in SW CT. I ran the FMH road race that day in Sun and dews while it was washing away SW CT. Had about 1.5” here . And then  David Epstein flew in

That’s impressive.  Knowing how easy it is (or can be) to get at least an occasional 0.5-1.0” QPF event while living in New England… that total over 2+ months is noteworthy.

There have been some big temperature changes, warm fronts and cold fronts usually spark precip but no dice lately.  You have an ocean to your south and east to supply moisture.

Just 1.5” in 8-10 weeks? Yeah, that’s impressively dry.

Yup. The faucet turned off after that sunday. From one extreme to the other.

63 here..we late august now! I’m really start to like this whole climate change business going on, sans the desert like environment of the Southern California that we’ve turned into lately. A few good soakers in the coming weeks would be fantastic.

In contrast, I averaged 1.5" every three days from June through August last summer.  What a difference a year makes.

Raining lightly here.

For the love of God, PLEASE make something happen. Anything…Even a small earthquake

12:30am Car hit telephone pole going 40 last night in front of my house. DD, totaled car around 30 ft from my office/den. The impact moved the house.  they walked away, most likely for a blood test and then jail.

 That was good.  Welcome to San Diego.  As I said in the other thread, just enjoy it now…eventually something will happen.  For the time being embrace the beautiful weather.

It was 73F at 3:30am.

Thats insane.

It’s actually really neat though too. You’ve already snowed twice too…you’re having an autumn to dream of actually.

That was about 10 degrees warmer than we were at that time…
