bluewave
More record warmth to start November with highs approaching 80° again right onto Long Island. Very strong downslope offshore flow. The steeper low level lapse rates with the dry frontal passage will allow wind gusts to approach 35-40 mph.

Dark Star
A few light sprinkles, but nothing in the bucket here in the Tremley Point section of Linden, NJ. Doesn't look like Newark recorded anything either?
SACRUS
71 / 56 clouds and a mostly dry front moving through. Breezy highs mid 70s to near 80. Cooler / near normal weekend before ridge rebuilds and much warmer Tue - Thu next week. Trough and front now by the 9th for a period of cooler before moderating warmer into mid month. Dry continues.
MANDA
Just a few sprinkles earlier. Slightly dampened the ground. Not even a drop in the gauge. I was giddy this morning just to wake up and see a heavily overcast sky. It actually looked like a November morning. It felt like an early September morning with temperatures in the 60's with humidity. Clouds will be exiting soon with more bright sun and above normal temperatures to follow. Wonderful! JustinRP37
One has to wonder how this drought is affecting the Delaware Aqueduct project. The reservoirs were drawn way down in preparation for it. I am already noticing the Croton system is much lower than I have ever seen it. You can see some of the project information here: https://www.nj.gov/drbc/library/documents/RFAC/042924/shallcross_DelawareAqueductShutdownAnalysis.pdf. Interesting to see for sure. One does have to wonder if the drought continues to worsen and a big chunk of the system down are we in for additional conservation measures? From what I have read nobody did expect this fall to be so dry.
RU848789
The sun appears to have been obscured by dark grey objects in the sky and I observed some small water droplets falling to the earth, apparently from these grey objects. Can anyone explain these strange observations?
