Chicago916
Looks like next weekend we get disappointed again. Good trends lately for a more northerly storm as supposed to a Southern Slider, but too far out.
Malacka11
Not even fucking cold yet and my car battery still died overnight. I'm definitely due to get a new one though so I can't be mad. Nothing will beat losing a fuel injector right after the glorified Christmas fropa of '22 3
SchaumburgStormer
Can tell this storm is missing the Chicago/Detroit corridor. Board is dead quiet, would be fucking hopping if that area was jack potting

HRRR annihilates Champaign though.

Models kept hope alive with 6+/10+ amounts but also showing a near miss south. In the end, I'm in the 1-3"/2-4" area with a 25 mile shift either way having major impacts on the IMBY total. At least I'd not worried about warm air aloft causing disappointment for me.

I’m actually just south of Champaign in Savoy, near Willard airport. The jackpots have been few and far between for the last decade

IWXwx
It's to the point where I just laugh about it now. We went from a Winter Storm Watch 36 hours ago to this: "A chance of flurries between 1am and 2am. Cloudy, with a low around 20. Northeast wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph." 1

No end in sight either. 5

You live in an area that could get no snow the rest of winter and still get over 17.7 in March and April.
