Josh, where we at with snow totals so far compared to the last 5 winters. Obviously we've had slow starts recently but I feel like this winter is the most zzzz. Obviously 2019 was a good start. Looking like we're gonna go into the new year with like 3 inches?

Or go into Spring with less than 10 inches total by March.

Off on our annual snowbird sojourn to the Coachella Valley to visit my parents. Mom isn’t doing so well, (Dementia) so trying to give her as much grandkids time as we can while we can. Picked a good week to go this year, lots of zzzzz weather in the upper Midwest. Coming back the 28th, hopefully right before a pattern shakeup.

I'll take a stormy rain system at this point.  The endless weeks of nothing to track is getting tedious.

The more intense rains and storm potential look like they may be in the Ohio River valley. I think multiple rounds of light rain events though. The Euro has some intense rain storms barreling through the eastern seaboard. A volatile spring like pattern coming for early January.

It has no other model support but enjoying the hi-res models' unrealistic snow profiled runs for the NYE storm

Seems like the last couple runs of the GEFS are starting to hint at some minor accumulations now. Decent accumulations in MI.

Toronto had 22cm of snow in December. That’s nothing to really complain about bud

Ya, December wasn't that bad especially since most of the GTA had a white Christmas. Though we're also at 22cm for the season haha. Same thing happened last year at this time, eventually the hole to get to average becomes too big. We should be around 16" so far not 8" and if nothing much happens next few weeks that quickly grows as January is our most snowy month. I dont think this year will be as bad as last but it's not looking great. Last year I only got 17" and so far here I'm at 6" haha

True we did and thats why I mentioned aside from clippers. Nicked and dimed our way to 22cm so nothing crazy. However, without any trackable storms over the next 10-15 days, the gap between our ytd and seasonal total will increase. By the end of January we should be averaging 25" or 65cm. I assume Chicago is probably around 20" by then too.

Hopefully things change as the month progresses for all of us.

I don’t have the exact numbers but I think Chicago is sub 5” currently on the season
