I get it, but don't the models also take into account ground temps. I an assuming that is how the better models calculate temps in the more urban areas. I've brought this up before, there are times where it looks like the dry pattern is about to change but it doesn't. We get thrown a bone or two and then the rain stops again. frd Posted October 28 Share Posted October 28 Checked temps at 11:00 PM , 2:00 AM and 6:00 AM - seems coldest part of the night was near 3:00 AM here, then temps went up at several nearby stations.
