JenkinsJinkies
I hope everyone liked the 10-12 days of measurable rain because per the weather forecasting services there might not be any more for more than 2 weeks.

Unfortunately, the temps skyrocketed up to the mid 80s this afternoon as soon as most of the clouds cleared in this part of NoVA. Frankly, I'm ready for the kind of autumn-ish temps that are being forecasted next week.
Eskimo Joe
You can really tell we're losing sun angle now. It's taking forever for the low level fog and stratus deck to burn off, even when there's no mid or high level clouds to interfere.
BlizzardNole
Full overcast day on deck I hope we get the advertised days of sun starting tomorrow. And sun angle - wow yesterday I noticed that the neighbor's huge pin oak is now fully shading my butterfly garden. Couple more years and that will be summer too

NorthArlington101
Anyone Aurora tracking? Going to be down in Charlottesville this weekend - thinking of giving it a go tomorrow night, assuming the CME timing pans out. Still looks cloudy today.

I'll probably try driving up to Shenandoah. Tomorrow night looks clear for tracking and like it has the better odds for something visible.

Idk) and it could make the 2nd night more interesting. Sounded interesting to me.

Thinking I'll either go further south towards the St. Mary's WIlderness or head north to Big Meadows this time

Light pollution gets a lot better even down to Covesville. Just need to find a north view!
