3.0” reported in Underhill (4 NNE) on the west side of Mansfield.  Think it’s like 1,000ft.  The west side of the barriers jackpotted.

We stayed at an AirBNB in Underhill about a year and a half ago.  Didn't realize it was that snowy there....

That was my old running loop.  I really miss that neck of the woods.

Ground is just wet at this point so I have no idea if it was snow or rain after I went to bed.  It was polite enough to spit out a few flakes while I threw the ball for the Labs just now.

Meanwhile a few miles away:

BARNARD, Vt. (WCAX) - Crews are working to battle a forest fire in Barnard.

Police say it happened around 6a.m. when they received a report of a fire on Morgan Hill Rd.

When crews arrived they found the fire, and two camps destroyed.

Crews determined the cause as improper disposal of ashes from a wood stove.

The fire spread to the surrounding woods, and the Barnard Fire Department and other crews are still fighting it.

Police say camp owner Richard Keating suffered non life-threatening injuries.

Fire crews say smoke will be visible for several days, and dry and windy conditions have added to the difficulty in putting the fire out.
