My ideal spot is elevated valley.  I’m only at 750ft so I’d like to do this same climate but at 1,500ft… like Alex or an SLK.

You want thermal extremes, elevated mountain valley will do it.  Can pop 95F or -40F… but need that surrounding high terrain a couple thousand feet up around you.  1,500ft on its own and you are ranging from like 85F to -10F annually up here.  But throw some walls up around you and the delta grows rapidly.

I love the extremes and then you also have the elevation to snow efficiently when that CAA comes in.

Haha that’s great. Most people hate our climate lol. It’s definitely a place of extremes. Great if you like that and if you like long periods of snow cover, but not great for retention. Also not great for gardening - the extremes are pretty tough on plants

What a day, who doesn’t love this shit. leaf cleanup is a lot easier when it’s nice out. I look forward to the cooler weather like any normal human in New England, but enjoy when it’s not cold. it is still autumn after all.

That’s pretty funny Bri.  But No riots here.  We love this weather.  And no fires here either.  Keep it nice a few more weeks imo. No need for 40’s and clouds now…don’t need that crap yet.

45F for the low and brush fire already started here in E CT this am; Franklin CT has one on a hill top near Ayer Rd, not accessible by ATV’s.

Dry as a bone the next 2 days with super low dews. Inevitably some moron will toss a cigarette out of their car and start a huge brush fire. Never fails

idk it still looks pretty warm in the extended to me with mild downs…all relative to normal of course.

It's leaving a lot on the table imho -

but, no argument,  it's -pnap base .. sending warm heights n over the e continental mid latitudes in general.     it's really just the n stream.    this is probably not true, but it seems to me sometimes like that the model's error correcting to force seasonal change ...so it decouples the 'aa' phase of the hemisphere, falsely creating the 'ab' phase - when the n/s streams are more than less in sync is aa and vice versa

may just be premature but real.  there is a likely +pna out there toward mid novie.  it's like it's clicking the n stream into that configuration and decapitating the southern wave number
