I’m getting an Ego soon. I’m curious how it handles a typical N ORH winter

lets see if we ever get one.

Let us know. I’m interested as well if it can handle a load of snow without horsepower

It took time here in the valley but I’d say this is an above average foliage year. There are plenty of dull spots, but also plenty of trees where the color is legit spectacular—if only for a few days.

Yeah trees were absolutely vibrant in Northampton this week.  Greenfield was great last week but starting to fade a little bit now.

Just an epic leaf disaster today . Oaks weeks ahead of schedule . Raining down by the thousands like men on Scooter on Brokeback

Must you always make everything have a gay undertone? I swear.... If I didn't know better...lol ( and that's coming from a gay guy ). You are an odd bird!

Now, regarding the leaves. The colors have been great, but I came home from work today and I feel like the leaves came down in droves as everything was completely covered. Covered. I think because it's been so dry, the trees are just losing the leaves now quickly. This may be the first time in quite some time that we'll have almost bare trees by Halloween.

Still some pretty trees here and there, but wow saw quite a few bare trees in between Bristol and Hartford and lots and lots of brown.

Of course, we are getting past peak now, leaves are dropping fast, and the oaks with the brown are starting to take center stage now.

But Late last week, and especially over the weekend and into Monday, it was spectacular.

Oaks here went from green to yellow to brown. Maples were the only ones to produce any colors.

I can't speak for the EGOs but got an electric Toro snowblower a couple years ago. Of course, haven't needed to use it much with the recent duds but it handles a decent amount of snow fairly easily. I might get a third battery for it to help power through the heavy stuff since I find it struggles with high water content.

Light rain falling at 67F in late October is a vibe.  Wets the ground, probably leads to more fog.  Love having all the windows and doors open as the weak FROPA moves through a good 30mph breeze.

Had to close windows due to close by skunk discharge. :thumbsdown:  In other news, drought ovah!

I believe it was October 29-30.
15 inches in Greenfield but much more in the hills west of here.

Power was out here for a day or so but south of here 4 days. Greenfield was swamped with people coming up from the south to get gas and groceries etc.

Yes.....I think I ended up with 26".  Wire-to-wire SN++ powder.
