Cold Miser
...My snow thrower, White Out turns 26 years old this season, and is coming out of hibernation. She's seen some epic snow storms and great winters, but as of late some epic duds. She's is heading out for a tune up and some repairs. Hopefully winter feeds her well this year.

Damage In Tolland
80 Helloween This will allow a return southwest flow of much milder air back into the region Wed and especially by Thu. The EPS/GEFS anomalous upper level ridging setting up across the mid-Atlantic coast. Southwest flow should allow highs to probably reach back into the 70s by Wed and perhaps taking a run at 80 by Thu. Still quite a ways out...but certainly may challenge a few record highs given strong support from the EPS/GEFS guidance.

However, The hype is sickening, and so is the selling of a winter season that won’t start for 8 weeks yet. Just remember one thing…the Tropical season was supposed/forecast to be off the charts active. All the ingredients were there for it to be an incredibly active year. And How did that work out? Don’t count your chickens before they hatch. ATL numbers and ace are way above normal, so yes we know how it turned out?
