GFS looks like some Western folks could have lows solidly in the 30s next week. We shall see. It's not quite as chilly on the Euro.

Maybe again next weekend... if GFS is right (and this way out) it would get really chilly mid-month.

First digital blues for the mountains as well. Winter is coming.

Looking at tropical tidbits, there might not be any more rain this month.

You did this last month and then there was 5” of rain.

It’s a model with a forecast for the next three weeks. Maybe it won’t rain, but I guarantee that the model you’re looking at isn’t foretelling the next three week’s weather.

I’m just saying maybe relax and let the weather do weather.

Interesting look over the NH. for later in the month.

Seems it fits the early season Nina look,  then we warm in January unless the -WPO guides the - EPO.

I imagine one more beach trip prior to this colder change.

From the evening Mount Holly AFD-

LONG TERM /SATURDAY NIGHT THROUGH WEDNESDAY/... The long term forecast required little changes to an overall stagnant weather pattern. Our area will generally lie under the upper ridge through Monday before the ridge shifts offshore on Tuesday. A shortwave then looks to approach the area on Wednesday. At the surface, high pressure will remain situated overhead through at least Monday before shifting east on Tuesday. A cold front tries to work its way into the region from the northwest on Wednesday, but current forecast guidance suggests there may be limited moisture available with it. With this being said, there simply does not appear to be any beneficial rain in sight, so the prolonged period of dryness continues with clear skies and above normal temperatures.

Let's enjoy. Screw the grass. We'll turn wet and nasty for 6 months here soon.

The warmth is a bit annoying. Rather have sunny and 60, but looks like multiple days of mid 70s next week. Some places will likely see 80 in the next week.

Each year Fall late summer weather extends deeper in November,  and at times December.  Nothing new this year. Ocean temps still near 67 F.   Beach weather next week.

SE may set some records with warmth possible along the ring of the WAR.

Every year for the last couple years, I've thought: I really need to book a weekend in Lewes or Rehoboth in mid-to late October. Strong odds it will be warm enough to swim, and dry.  Next year!
