Gfs and GGEM both have ~2” over the next 5-6 days as the storm center moves back over us.

Per the GFS most of the rain over here would come from that closed low(as it transitions to an open wave) moving eastward underneath the blocking ridge early next week. That might end up weaker/further south. The Euro is more robust with rain chances tomorrow night into Saturday, more directly associated with the remnants of Helene.

Packed a poncho for OC :raining:

You heading down tonight?  Hope the rain holds off because I'm going to Philly first.  Last time we drove to get her in the rain, it took 4 hours just to get to Philly. The drive from Philly to the beach shouldn't be bad.

Have fun and enjoy the show!

Looked at the playlist- If accurate The Killers are playing 7 songs, all from their earlier Albums including 3 from Hot Fuss. Several of my faves!

Enjoy it and hopefully nothing more than a few showers down there.

Going by radar, Helene appears to have made a jog east moreso than the nhc forecast track. Maybe nothing, maybe something

I commented on this in the tropical thread 15 minutes ago.  Predictor radar indicates the eye will cross the coast 10 - 15 miles east of NHC plot.
