Well, safe to say ATL forecast busted on the POSITIVE side.

Rain showers, snow showers, freezing rain, and sleet before 4pm, then rain, possibly mixed with freezing rain between 4pm and 5pm, then freezing rain after 5pm. High near 34. Light south wind becoming east 5 to 10 mph in the morning. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. Total daytime ice accumulation of 0.1 to 0.3 of an inch possible. Total daytime snow and sleet accumulation of less than one inch possible.

I’m done looking at models for this one. Time to just enjoy the snow! Just 6 hrs ago the hrrr showed a 1/2” for atl. A lot of places down there have 2-3” and still falling. Hopefully that means we can stay all snow and rack up 6” or so.

No one look at the NAM. Toss, pass, light it on fire, etc.

And with that, I am closing out Pivotal Weather for the day. Cheers! Time to just sit back and watch!

Temp or QPF issue? Just curious. Either way, time for radar and sky watching.
