Sw NC weather
Fine flakes pouring down in Northern Macon. Everything starting to get covered. Seems like it’s been a while that we’ve had a good winter stretch like we seem to be entering. Hopefully fun times ahead. 4

Met1985 Posted yesterday at 12:57 AM Share Posted yesterday at 12:57 AM Ran into steady snow near Hendersonville this evening. It's flat out putting it down at the airport. Roads are becoming white. Heard Leicester was a parking lot...

Especially in Yancey and Mitchell

I bought a condo up here, so I didn't think I'd have the space or ability to have one if needed. I do have a kerosene heater, which I got after the storm for these situations, so I might fire it up.
WeatherHawk Posted yesterday at 02:07 AM Share Posted yesterday at 02:07 AM Very strong winds here in North West Watauga, snow pouring sideways. Be safe everyone if you have to go out. Looking forward to the next system, hoping our friends and colleagues to the south and our piedmont can get a decent thump this winter, looks promising.
