Met1985
Flurries just started here. I can look out towards up the river and tell they are getting legit light snow. The cutoff of clouds are at the Haywood Buncombe line that I can see.
WeatherHawk
Decent snow shower just hit, 27 degrees-gentle breeze here on the East side of Elk Knob. Congrats to our folks in the deep south getting some snow

Buckethead
The snow has been off and on all day in Burnsville and at my house. I have half an inch of fluff on my board when I got home at 5, but it's snowing pretty steadily at the moment. 23°Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk

Off and on snow all day with light accum. Nice surprise for today though. I hope we can pull some winter weather out of our butts in the next week or two.

Looks like we will get a reprieve from the pattern the next few weeks. I think we see a pattern back similar to this month come in around the end of February. Sw NC weather
It’s been real quiet in here. I hope everyone is enjoying this nice warmer weather. Looks like the pattern will flip back to cold around February 10-12.
Tyler Penland
Really liking the 7-10 day plus look. 12z GFS has a multi day storm. Wouldn't be surprised to see the can kicked down the road a few days but I think we're headed in a good direction. At any rate, doesn't look like suppression will be a problem.
Maggie Valley Steve
What a glorious 'false spring' day in the Mountains! I hit 66 today which is the highest temperature since last December. Tomorrow looks even warmer and will be a perfect day for a motorcycle ride!

WxKnurd Posted yesterday at 01:36 PM Share Posted yesterday at 01:36 PM The good thing about this warm up has been a thawed ground allowing me to remove fence posts easily and hopefully an electric bill that my pocket book will thank me for lol. In other news, hopefully the CO mountains can replenish the snowpack between now and when I get there the 22nd!
WeatherHawk Posted yesterday at 04:15 PM Share Posted yesterday at 04:15 PM Keen lightning and very heavy rain hit around the Todd area early this morning around 1:45. Maybe some more snow to come soon...
