gopack42 Posted yesterday at 01:18 AM Share Posted yesterday at 01:18 AM With the wind blowing all the fine powder that's falling, it's hard to get a feel for how much has fallen here on my property. It's drifting too much.

Sw NC weather Posted yesterday at 02:20 AM Share Posted yesterday at 02:20 AM Pouring snow at the moment there was a slight let up from 8-9. Closing in on 2”, what a nice surprise.
Met1985 Posted yesterday at 02:46 AM Share Posted yesterday at 02:46 AM These pictures are from around downtown Clyde. Roads are extremely dangerous to be out on.Sent from my SM-G998U using Tapatalk
chris21 Posted yesterday at 02:47 AM Share Posted yesterday at 02:47 AM We are getting hammered here in Roaring Creek. Didn’t expect this. For the last few hours there has been very little wind, the flakes are huge and visibility is very low. We have about four inches so far.

Upstate Tiger Posted yesterday at 03:44 AM Share Posted yesterday at 03:44 AM Roads, parking lots, and grass covered in Sapphire Valley. Light snow continues at 18 degrees. Should be beautiful drive home tomorrow.

Met1985 Posted yesterday at 04:15 AM Share Posted yesterday at 04:15 AM Roads are extremely treacherous throughout the majority of the county. Still snowing moderately, roads are a mess and the temp is plummeting. Down to 15 degrees with 3.5 inches of snow on the ground.

ncjoaquin Posted yesterday at 11:40 AM Share Posted yesterday at 11:40 AM About an inch here. A nice blanket of snow, especially when the forecast was for absolutely nothing.

Sw NC weather
There’s virtually nothing in Franklin. Crazy how much change there can be in just a few miles.
Phelps
Started snowing around noon on Beech. Snowed pretty good all day and I thought we were winding down when I went to sleep but I was wrong. We got several more inches overnight. It's 2 degrees and gorgeous.

Maggie Valley Steve
Looks like an inch will be my total for this event. The wind likely cut down on what I could actually measure. This time the trees have a plaster on the N and W facing sides. Diamond Dust still lightly falling. Cataloochee did not post their overnight snowfall, but snow guns are blowing in the lower section of the Mountain.

wncsnow
Just a dusting maybe a half inch in west AVL. There was nothing east of downtown. Nothing in black mountain.

Crazy the difference depending on where you are. Solid snow covered roads in my neighborhood. WxKnurd
3” at my place, 1” at best in Crabtree Valley. Iron duff area with 3”+. East Canton had virtually nothing and then Candler had an inch plus. Crazy to see the difference driving, really shows you the hit or miss nature of flow snow

Buckethead
I had a close friend that's the habor master in Juneau, AK tell me that they're in the upper 30's with rain and have only had 25" of snow this season. It's petty amazing to think about having 20" more than them on the season in NC.Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk
