76 here and something I thought I would never see this time of the year I have a mercury therm, that is very very susceptible to sun, hanging off a kitchen window facing west.  It is reading 100 degrees.

If the data I just read is correct, the latest in the year that MDT has ever hit 80 was Nov 2nd.

Looks like the drought might have an effect on my work soon. Don't know if they'll ask for voluntary extraction cutbacks, or if they'll go to the authorities and force our hand. Now my company is only a hauler for the well owners, so it's up to them and the govt what happens.

An incredible 60 here this AM while MDT is at 64/65.  MDT has a shot at 2 records today.  The max high and max min.  If they are at 64 right now they could tie the max min if they hold it through midnight tonight.  Max high record is 77 from 1948.

It was a warm night last nite. Went to bed at 11:30 was 67 Had to run the ac to sleep. That was a first for November.

Yet another beautiful day on the way! We could see near record warmth across some areas today. We turn a bit cooler but still a little above normal as we move toward the weekend. We also should see our best chance of widespread showers in a long time come later in the weekend. Fingers and toes crossed!

Only managed to get down to 63 overnight. First steps outside this morning confirmed it's late August. Wondering why the foliage looks the way it does.

Admittedly, I don't know much about them or their migration tendencies...what I do know is that it's not even noon and my temp is now in the 80s. 

This truly is a day almost similar to mid-late summer.

A good amount of high cloud cover is now moving in - might be the only thing that will prevent today from beating last week's record high of 84. (MU)

Also of note/reminder, if MDT gets to 80 it will be the latest in the year they have ever achieved that.  That is quite noteworthy.  Quite a few clouds here and 76.
