If MDT does not hit freezing tomorrow, possible it does but would not call it likely, we are going to probably get into the top 15-20, if not higher, of this list.  The list shows and is sorted by last day it hit 32 entering the winter season (first column of dates with a first header).  That 85-86 season was also the shortest season for freezing first to last difference at only 110 days.   Last year MDT waited until Nov 2nd so we are already past that.

Lol, Jet traffic must be interfering.

The vast majority of us have had a freeze already this year.

Heck, even the tropical heat island of BWI has had a freeze this season.

Mdt has a hard time getting cold in the fall.  But my post was more stat nerd related vs. An opinion on anything.

Brush fires popping all over the place. Got one now in Coaldale, which is 5 miles from the house, and one over by Pottsville. Ugh...hope these new ones get put out quickly.

Small brush fire in Camp Hill today  - going to get worse and worse

I start screaming obscenities every time this comes up.

I'm sort of serious.

That was me on Saturday watching that fat lineman in motion for the third play in a row from the one yard line. And then he didn't once unload the cement truck on anybody.

He should have unloaded it on used car salesman James Franklin.

MDT did not even get close.  36/37 for the low as of now.   I do not believe CXY or HGR have had a freeze either.

40 for the low this AM.  Up to 43 now.

I understand better the nuances that drive the temp variations, having said that, I don't recall this many times in the past when my temp was significantly lower than yours. It's happened more than once over the past few weeks. It used to be a given that you would be colder.

I have not had a freeze yet this year and you have been in the 20's so has been that type of fall.   HGR's low was 41 and AOO was 40 while MDT was 36/37 so sort of similar to you and I this Am.

Fuel oil guy, who is a saint of the earth, stopped by and topped me off at 54 gallons. Last fill-up was in April, so this warm weather has been really damned nice on my wallet.

Let's continue that until the week of Turkey Day. I don't mood well when it's sunny and 65 on Turkey Day. Needs to be cloudy and 50 or below.

Not sure if I ever officially declared it, but I had my driest month ever since I began detailed record-keeping in 2011, coming in at .04".  MDT 6th driest at .47".

.02" for me. I don't ever recall a month like October. I don't have 59 years of records but it can't get much drier than 0.02".
