When Tyler Warren didn't score...I just KNEW that we weren't going to score. Just knew it. And that is the difference between us and the truly elite teams. We literally come up short when it matters most. Perfect metaphor.

Yep. Came up short in key moments and some costly penalties. I can’t believe we didn’t just direct snap the ball to Warren on that 4th and goal play and tell him to go over the top.  Uuugghhhh.

Sorry guys.    They showed well and are still well within the playoff hunt if they win out.

Correct - my 2 biggest gripes:

2 different 1st and Goals resulted in 0 points. Can't happen.

Undisciplined actions continue. 2 HUGE personal fouls really hurt in the 1st half. Franklin promised last week that this would go away and it did not. Stepping over a player down on the field...I  don't like that. Play with aggressively but do so with some level of class.

We need rain, bad. Large wildfire on the Blue Mountain in the Palmerton/Walnutport area of Carbon and Northampton County. That's about 25 miles from me.

It’s bad and no rain in sight. Just heat. We had never gone past Oct 25 turning on the furnace.

The AC was on yesterday. No furnace needed - not even close.  And another week of 70s ahead.

Nothing new this morning yet, but this post from NEPA Storm Chasers from 10pm last night paints a pretty dire situation. Thank God there is no coal in that area. If this fire was happening here in Tamaqua, or anywhere else in the coal region, we could potentially have another Centralia on our hands.

Low of 32. Preparing for the Packers to disappoint me today so I can get a double dose of football heartache. Nothing worse than the clocks moving around when you have little kids.

Always feel bad for parents during this nonsense.

I wish with all my heart someone would stop this BA.

We had this discussion a few years ago.  I am not pro or plus change but kids standing at a bus stop when it is dark is the worst option for me.   That could mean changing school hours instead of doing DST but then businesses have to accommodate parents hours.  Some kids get picked up at 5:50 AM here.

Below is the Climate Summary for Chester County PA for October 2024. Of 18 reporting stations 12 finished with above normal temperatures and 6 with below normal temperatures. Overall we finished at 1.8 degrees above normal for October. This is the first month since July that we finished with overall above normal temperatures in the County. It was for most locations one of the driest Month's on record with most spots recording no rain at all.

If MDT does not hit freezing tomorrow, possible it does but would not call it likely, we are going to probably get into the top 15-20, if not higher, of this list.  The list shows and is sorted by last day it hit 32 entering the winter season (first column of dates with a first header).  That 85-86 season was also the shortest season for freezing first to last difference at only 110 days.   Last year MDT waited until Nov 2nd so we are already past that.

Classes start at 7:30 and there is breakfast before that....some bus trips take an hour.     Pick up before 6, get to school 7-715 for breakfast.   They get out at 2:20PM.   This is 6-8th grade at Waynesboro but some districts the young kids go early, some they go late....my comment was any kid under 18 standing at a dark bus stop.   Dangerous for both possible traffic driving in the dark and predators.    Now in theory parents will not let their kids stand alone but that does not always work out.

Big Spring in Newville has kids standing outside at 545 AM.
