I think tomorrow that will be tested. you need to get out of bed before 9am it was misting at 515 on my way to work. My alarm is set for 7:45 - only other time I get up earlier is we're leaving on a trip! BTW winds shockingly higher than expected - gusting to 30 now.

Bubbler86
Nooners...sunny, 70 and wind gusting into the upper 30's. I see now that LNS officially recorded .01 so that streak is over. They are at 73/74 right now.

So, what is the official stance on this....do you still consider yourself to be rainless for X amount of days? I am not asking while knowing, I never really care about a stat like this but unsure if a T will allow the streak to continue.

I try and be consistent and somewhat logical in my thought process - I had a T of snow in May 2020. In my mind, I had snow in May. Same thing applies to today with rainfall; HOWEVER, Say it rains from 1:35am to 2:15am, doesn't reach measurable status in my gauge, and the ground is 100% dry by morning...what I don't see affects my perception. In that case, the streak would live on. I really don't know. I guess I could argue both sides.

I actually do not have another Million dollars to disagree so whatever you say goes!
WmsptWx
I think we got two drops of rain last night. Aside from that it's dryer than the goddamned Sahara out here. The West Branch Susquehanna in Curwensville is showing river bed that likely hasn't been seen in decades. It's very windy and 58°F here today. The 8 ft inflatable ghost has had a very windy few days. I think the air gets sucked out of his lungs today just out of mercy.

canderson
Cold front doing its thing Down to 60 at 8. Which is crazy. To celebrate since that’s still above the normal high. These +25 temp departures we have had tge last few days are insane. And we get it again next week.
