Itstrainingtime
Glad I didn't post last evening's map - it was showing 1"+ rains for most of the LSV and everyone south of the turnpike. This morning, I see this:

This morning, I see this: The models have been rainy 7-10 days out for 7-10 days now. This AM, still 6-7 days out. A surprisingly warm 75 here already. Going to be a warm one. I just laid my first crap emotion on that map!

mitchnick
Heading back this morning a day early from Southern Shores. Finally feels like summer but too late for the pool. The sun being lower in the sky, the trees just barely blocked hitting the pool and warming it. Oh well, no complaints here. Beautiful fall weather all week, more like a typical Hanover mid-late September.

canderson
While our weather is nice and boring, time for me to start looking at the Atlantic and Canadian Hs because in two weeks we're headed to the Maritimes.
Bubbler86
Some very small/light showers popping up around the area. Up to 84 now. MDT's BN streak seems destined to fall today. CMC and GFS back to starting some rain for southern PA later on Tue.
Bubbler86
Up to 87 here. A lot of upper 80's and even one 90 in North Franklin County. We are the frying pan for the day...stealing it from the HIA.

The Hummingbirds are still here, just seen one of them getting nectar from the hanging baskets at our porch. Unlike last year they are still here. Last year around Labor Day they were gone. So maybe true fall will be delayed for a little while. Low was 52 this morning. High 83 degrees today. I have 1 hummingbird that made a stop at the feeder this week. Not sure if it was one passing through. Fresh nectar change yesterday.

Mount Joy Snowman
Low of 56. MDT snuck in an AN day yesterday to break its streak of ten consecutive BN days. We really need a storm system to come through for next week but signals are mixed. Only one guarantee -- it's a football and firepit weekend ahead. Cheers boys.

Mount Joy Snowman
The national high of 106, at various spots in Arizona and Texas, is the lowest I've seen in a long time. Autumn is on the march. Peter Sinks did what it does best and claimed the national low with a frosty 15 degrees.
