Central PA Autumn 2024

Recommended Posts

A couple of cold fronts will cross the area with the first one tonight and another on Saturday, but neither front will bring any much-needed rain to the area. Today will be our 5th straight above normal temperature day before we return to near normal temperatures tomorrow and Friday. We will fall to below normal temperatures by later in the weekend. We have a chance at a freezing morning by Monday morning for even some of the higher spots who have yet to see a sub 32 low this autumn.

Personally, I think that posts that have any hint or attachment to political views should probably be saved for OT and not shared in our thread. It's an emotionally charged period of time and I'd hate to see our group come unglued as there are wildly different viewpoints.

Ok I'll stop.  I'm just frustrated that something that should be benign in nature is ruining my attempt to make this a fun day for me and my kids.

No issue for me. I understand it. Thanks and I will stop now too. Back to weather 63 and sunny. Tomorrow through the weekend we get colder and then warm back up.

Warmest Nooners of the week here up to 72 already.

72 here as well which is the coolest noon temp of the week. Also, this: (Courtesy MU)

This is what a Pacific Jet Extension looks like, and ensemble models agree on its occurrence in early #November. As if it wasn't warm enough already, PJEs often flood the U.S. with mild, Pacific air, and I expect this case to be no exception! The warm-biased pattern continues..

benign to you is not so for others, and as Trainer suggested, there are many viewpoints from a wide array of reasonings....no matter who you are...or where you come from politically (or legally).

See my point ;)
