What is this supposed to mean? You actually thought they would lose to Maryland? Come on.

Did I actually think that? Not at all.

Would it have shocked me? No.

How many people thought Notre Dame would lose at home to Northern Illinois?

I have no idea why you have this attitude with me. It's not like upsets don't happen. And frequently.

Personally, not assuming anything has worked very well for me. I've been burned so many times by counting games as wins before they're played. Seems foolish to me, especially in sports today.

Here in East Nantmeal we finished November as the 6th warmest November in the last 21 years at 47.7 degrees which is 3.2 degrees above normal. I will have the monthly climate summary for all reporting stations across the county later. We should open December with a colder than normal stretch with a couple of minor snow chances toward Thursday morning and again over the weekend.

Penn State barely beat Bowling Green at home this year.

Bowling Green also almost beat Texas A&M. I’m tired of everyone bashing Penn State. Yes, they haven’t been as dominant as we would like. But they are about to play in the conference championship with a chance to get a top 4 seed and a bye. Maybe give Franklin a break for a week.

Make that a trifecta...low here this morning of 13.6 degrees at 5:32am.  Also, coldest temperature for the month of November occurred at 11:54pm last night at 16.3 degrees.  Warmest temperature for the month of November was 80.6 degrees on the 6th.

You are certainly entitled to be frustrated about Penn State bashing. I am as well. And I didn't bash them or Franklin. That doesn't mean that I'm not going to feel uneasy going into games. History is on my side for feeling that way.
