Another breezy but dry day today with temperatures within a couple of degrees above our normal high of around 50 degrees. We warm to above normal both tomorrow and Tuesday before the big pattern change to below normal temperatures sets in by Wednesday. Looking ahead below normal temperatures look like a good bet to close out the month and last through at least the first 10 days of December. We have a couple rain chances this week - the first one will be tomorrow night with the cold front and then again with the possible coastal storm on Thanksgiving Day.

I'll second that.

Some of us, me more than others love to share other met's thoughts in here. But our own met is better than all of them.

JB went warm this winter, didn't he? It'll be fun to see him try to get out of that hole IF the current progged pattern, in varying degrees, can hold.

JB aside, it has to break down at some point (assuming it comes to fruition) because no pattern is forever. Once it breaks down, does it reload or revert to the consensus seasonal forecasts.

Good ole Blowtorch Bastardi will not be able to Tolleris a whole winter without going for a big dog 3 footer.

Yes he did. Might have been a first.

NWS Buffalo sounding the alarm on major lake snows this week.

I have Black Friday (THAT'S RACIST) off. My intention was to go to a doctor's appointment and then head to Toontown for some shopping. Maybe I'll see what kinda shops are in downtown Hamburg.

It all starts at  Cabela's.  The king of Hamburg.  Red Robin a close second.   Roadside America is kaput.

I actually did not know there was another one but did think it weird you jumped form Altoona to Hamburg.

Hamburg is a Buffalo southtown right on the coast of Lake Erie. It's about 15 mins from Orchard Park and when Erie cranks the lake effect machine, Hamburg has a history of getting buried.

Don't look now, but the 18z Nam is advertising precip coming in Wednesday night as snow for many. Pivotal Nam maps have me with Snow as likely precip. Time to run with 84 hr Nam progs folks.

Should have added not to rely on the precip map but click on your location to get the sounding and suggested precip type.
