Itstrainingtime
Flakes and 33 - my blue Penn State lawn chairs are late to the party but are now actively participating in whiteout conditions. (Wife and I were outside last evening enjoying them)

I was outside briefly after supper and noticed that the sky was almost totally clear. I went back inside and asked my wife if she wanted to sit outside and stargaze, the conditions were perfect! My temp had dropped to 32 later in the evening before the clouds moved back in and my temp started to rise again.
Voyager
My loading location at the base of the Blue Mountain on the Schuylkill County side off of PA309. Looks like about an inch on non paved surfaces.

When I was up in WBS & Hazleton they had gotten off to a nice start.

WmsptWx
Meanwhile it continues to snow here. Roads have been resurrected thanks to the great folks at the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. Grassy surfaces and everything not touched by salt or brine has caved long ago and we're probably over an inch. I think a little cooler surface and this would have been a bigger hit. The consensus amongst the met community do make me worried that this could be one of few events, which will be a damned shame, but let's play that out later. As Mitch pointed out earlier, early looks are already being revisited due to ENSO (or lack thereof), so yeah, like you, I'ma gonna take it as it comes and hope for surprises, or futher tweaking of long lead forecasts (Weather World was quite the Debbie....)
