This is like the Nuclear Power Plant Warning that EAS nerds bust out on their YouTube videos. I've never seen that headline before.
Bubbler86
Light rain here...down to 42. Looks like MDT might break their 50 and over streak! CXY made 50 but that does not count :-) Nice.
WmsptWx
A very cold rain here today. It's 40°F and raining. Pretty miserable even though the rain is very needed. Damned shame it's not like four degrees colder.

If these figures are right and MDT does indeed not reach 50, they will come in tied with the 10th latest date to not reach 50 entering the winter season. I have been nerding on stats lately and MJS has been gracious in not getting mad :-). Ha. About 3/4 of years, MDT has stayed under 50 by some time in October. Some of this can be attributed to the lack of rain and clouds this year. 1
Itstrainingtime
Pretty good chance I'll finish this event without a drop of rainfall. Wasn't expecting much at all...but thought I'd get something. MU was right. Again. From this morning: MU Weather Center @MUweather Light rain will overspread northern MD and the LSV from SW-to-NE between 1:30 to 6 PM this afternoon, but it’s running into very dry air and high pressure over New England. I still don’t expect much east of Rt. 11 and the Susquehanna River. The rain will be largely beneficial.
