ChescoWx
Another breezy but dry day today with temperatures within a couple of degrees above our normal high of around 50 degrees. We warm to above normal both tomorrow and Tuesday before the big pattern change to below normal temperatures sets in by Wednesday. Looking ahead below normal temperatures look like a good bet to close out the month and last through at least the first 10 days of December. We have a couple rain chances this week - the first one will be tomorrow night with the cold front and then again with the possible coastal storm on Thanksgiving Day. I'll second that. Some of us, me more than others love to share other met's thoughts in here. But our own met is better than all of them.

JB aside, it has to break down at some point (assuming it comes to fruition) because no pattern is forever. Once it breaks down, does it reload or revert to the consensus seasonal forecasts. Good ole Blowtorch Bastardi will not be able to Tolleris a whole winter without going for a big dog 3 footer. 1 1

AccuChris
The 12z Euro, even though doesnt show a lot of snow, does show absolute brutal cold in the extended period.

WmsptWx
NWS Buffalo sounding the alarm on major lake snows this week. I have Black Friday (THAT'S RACIST) off. My intention was to go to a doctor's appointment and then head to Toontown for some shopping. Maybe I'll see what kinda shops are in downtown Hamburg. Hamburg is a Buffalo southtown right on the coast of Lake Erie. It's about 15 mins from Orchard Park and when Erie cranks the lake effect machine, Hamburg has a history of getting buried.

mitchnick
EPS hitting southern central and eastern Canada hard with snow over the next 2 weeks. That won't be melting fast, if at all, in the coming weeks. It should really help in refrigerating lower levels of the atmosphere this early season.

If the waves track under us, the right timing & precip intensity would help the winter weather cause. 1
