If these figures are right and MDT does indeed not reach 50, they will come in tied with the 10th latest date to not reach 50 entering the winter season. I have been nerding on stats lately and MJS has been gracious in not getting mad :-). Ha. About 3/4 of years, MDT has stayed under 50 by some time in October. Wasn't expecting much at all...but thought I'd get something. MU was right. Again. From this morning: MU Weather Center @MUweather Light rain will overspread northern MD and the LSV from SW-to-NE between 1:30 to 6 PM this afternoon, but it’s running into very dry air and high pressure over New England. Here in East Nantmeal we received 0.04" of rain with the most I could find being the 0.11" up at Warwick Park. We start a slow moderating trend that will last through midweek next week before we turn much chillier by late week.
