That East Nantmeal urban heat island is growing insane. Your lows are now several degrees warmer than the lows at Baltimore!

It really was interesting this morning with the highest reporting spot in Berks County to my north at 1115 ft had a low of 58 degrees - 7 degrees warmer than East Nantmeal

GFS looks mainly dry through Nov 6. Geezus.

Sounds good to me…

Let’s get the above normal temps & below normal precip out of the way in late October & early November.

Then, let the pattern flip later in November to above normal precip & below normal temps.
Then hopefully we begin tracking Winter weather opportunities.

Another large spread in temperatures this early AM across the area. Upper 50's in East Nantmeal while lower 40's a few miles north at Warwick but 300 feet lower. Many spots except the highest ridges will touch the 80's today before we start cooling down tomorrow through the weekend. Of course, there is no chance of any rain in our future!

The warmest recorded temps for the second half of Oct.    Understanding that the locations changed for MDT.   CXY goes back to 1939 and MDT 1888.   Also, with a high of 85 and low of 37, the difference of 48 degrees at MUI yesterday was the highest I remember seeing.  May be bad memory though.

CXY:87 in 2016

MDT: 86 in 1947

So when do we get a windy day that causes red flag advisorys. I believe in the past our worst fires have been in the fall with conditions like this.

You certainly did! How many rebuilding years will it take for 1983 to happen again?

I wish I knew. But I agree with you that the GM needs to go and probably a few more in the front office as well. I also wish Josh Harris would sell and a new owner would come in that you know, actually cares about Philly. Instead we have a clown that spends his time in DC at his Commanders games.
