This is the only political reference I'll make but I trust these models just like i trust the election polls that came out this past election. So any snow they show I'm highly skeptical. I'm saying we see maybe an inch at most.

I guess this is a Mr. Obvious comment, but these maps are pretty garbage in these marginal temperature setups. I think it's likely the lowlands see an inch or less unless something really times right overnight. Going to be tough to stay cold enough during the day. Still nice to have some pre-season action lol

This setup reminds me of 2/10/10.
Decent moisture and energy on the wrap around.
Unfortunately, temps are too warm for most of us.

At least it's only November.  That happening in February is far more upsetting.

Looks like CPC thinks it'll be colder than normal through 12/20.  Might have a decent December if that holds true.

Looks like we'll have a cold source for the first week of December, at least.

Not sure about discrete threats.  One around Thanksgiving is the most obvious.  This early in the season could be more about lake effect as opposed to synoptic snows, however, and it might be a "cold and dry" environment after that one.

I'm skeptical the cold lasts any longer than that - rest of December is more likely to be normal or above, IMHO.  But in the long range that can always change, of course.
