Not expecting much here. Most of the coastal plain is back to abnormally dry. My only concern is the new grass. Easy enough to water to get it to germinate, but not so easy to get a deep watering with the sprinkler to get the roots established. CAPE Posted September 1 Share Posted September 1 Getting some showers rolling through here now, as pathetic as it is lol. Moderate downpour currently but it wont last more than 30 seconds. And yeah, @CAPE...maybe even more than the shorter days, I mind the lowering sun angle on our journey towards late Dec. Beautiful afternoon with partly cloudy skies and mid 70's temps, had a sprinkle around 2 pm before the event started.
