Looking forward to the pleasant weather starting on Monday.  Good riddance, summer.

All 3 globals have a heavy synoptic rain event on Friday with a low on the coast getting pulled into a front coming in from the Midwest. Then another early fall airmass behind it.

I’m playing in a golf tournament on Friday, so let’s leave the rain for a little later in the day. Thanks.

Is it going to rain today? All the point and clicks say yes but models have nothing.

Mesos aren't too impressed. Not expecting much here. Most of the coastal plain is back to abnormally dry. My only concern is the new grass. Easy enough to water to get it to germinate, but not so easy to get a deep watering with the sprinkler to get the roots established. Hopefully the late week/weekend potential becomes reality.

Getting some showers rolling through here now, as pathetic as it is lol. Moderate downpour currently but it wont last more than 30 seconds. Might pick up a few hundredths.

Airmass is juicy, but too bad the forcing is weak and the upper levels are unimpressive.

Fall feel out there. 68/59 and breezy.

The lowering sun angle is becoming more notable.

70/58..heading out for the four mile doggo walk under increasingly blue skies. Good thing it's perfect lawn mowing weather...cuz there's a lot to do.  ;)

And yeah, @CAPE...maybe even more than the shorter days, I mind the lowering sun angle on our journey towards late Dec. With the front of the house facing due south, our back patio gets mostly full sun at the height of summer...but now the shadow of the house is gradually extending toward the yard again and putting more and more patio in full shade.  :(
