powderfreak
I can’t even fathom multiple below normal months in the winter. Cold mins, cold maxes, whole thing. Feels impossible. Consistent legit fresh cold air masses… not rotting at a cloudy 28F for days on end and torching departures.

Six 12"+ events for regionwide SNE. How do I know? Torch Tiger
Coc as far as the eye can see. (September Coc is 70's 80's, very very dry, cool mornings) Wow hopefully this holds through March. *edit* Hopefully we get a few of those "drill for oil" GL/OV stemwinders to rip things up before next Spring

tamarack
Yesterday's 64/41 was 8° BN, the largest negative departure since April. So far this year, we've had only 2 double-digit negative days, 10° BN on 3/23 in the 22" dump and 11° BN on 1/19 when we hit -12, winter's very modest coldest morning. We've had 36 days of 10+ AN, including 13 of 15+ and a +21 in Feb. Not many daily warmth records (except for minima) but unrelenting lack of cold.
